It's Time to Believe God for More

daytonstreetpreach

Deuteronomy 3:24 24O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

God is showing us His mighty hand of Power. He is pushing us to believe Him for more! The sky's the limit if we can just believe Him at His Word! What God is like ours? A God who labors and fights alongside His people. As the end is quickly approaching God is leading us into greater things. He is taking us deeper to believe Him for more. Through childlike faith it’s time to forget what is behind and what God did back when and move into this final chapter. This year we are pressing in, we are stronger than ever, bearing more fruit than ever, by the grace of God. We are making it count and playing for keeps. And through these covenant promises given to us in God’s Word we are making a huge impact and tearing down hell. Today I’m going to share the secrets to spiritual warfare so we can see successful fight and destroy the enemy. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg of what God will do!

We have the Keys (Authority) through prayer Matthew 18:18-20 18Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (God has been challenging me. If we we have whatever we ask for what should our prayer life look like. We have to fight Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.)

Unbelief is a Killer!

Unbelief is a gateway sin  2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (Unbelief is the gateway sin in which all other sin happens. Those who did not believe are the ones who took pleasure in righteousness and got destroyed. If you don’t have faith in God’s word you wont obey it and you will be deceived and damned.

What was holding back the disciples? Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

(The disciples didn’t give up. They were consistent and determined to stay with Christ!)

Unbelief brings wrath Numbers 14:11 11And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them? 12I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

Unbelievers go to the Lake of Fire Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (These are not just people that call themselves atheist. These are people in the church that refuse to believe all of God’s Word.)

Believe in God’s Word and See the Glory of God

God’s promises are for His covenant people 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (You must pull the promise out of the word and bring it back to God in prayer! God is faithful to His Word. If we stand on the promises of His Word we have whatever we ask for. If we stand on the covenant promises we will get the prayer answered. Be consistent until you get it.)

If God has exalted His Word above His Name how serious is God about His Word? Psalms 138:2 2I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

(God has exalted His word above His name because He is constantly pointing us to it to trust in it. Psalms 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God Romans 10:17-18 17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. (Faith in God’s Word is everything. We can do nothing without faith in God’s Word!)

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Who hath believed our report? Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? (The arm of the Lord is the Lord Jesus! We need to believe Him and His promises. Not the doctors and the people of this world that speak curses and doubt. Speak faith! Whose report will you believe?

Speak Faith Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; (This is a living word and must be believed and professed in the Heart. Only then can we experience it and preach it. It is all there for the taking for those who believe. (Mark 9:23 “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” If we really believe this we are gonna cash in and be people of prayer!)

By faith is how we take dominion over the earth as commanded by God. We must trust and hold onto God’s promises. God to His promises. This is how heaven is unlocked on the earth. Let us be a people of prayer!

Hebrews 11:32-35 32And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

( Psalms 47:3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. We want to subdue this world for God. God is saying think bigger! )

Anything we ask we have

Time is precious and everythings on the line. We must believe that everything in God’s Word is for us. We can see what He did for others and believe He will do it for us! Through faith in God’s Word we can ask God and He will answer. This is His will and what He wants to do. 1 John 5:13-15 13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Be specific with your prayers Philippians 4:4-7 4Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord isat hand. 6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Ask knowing and you will receive James 1:4 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (No tolerance for doubt. Unbelief is a sin!)

If you believe in prayer you shall receive it Mark 11:24-26 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Whatever we ask of Him we receive 1 John 3:22-24 22And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Ask seek Knock  Matthew 7:7 7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Pray until you get it! The persistent widow Luke 18:1-7 1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Pray in Secret Matthew 6:6  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

The template for biblical prayer / The Lords prayer  Matthew 6:9-15 9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (This is the template to how to pray.)

Carnal minded people praying James 4:1-3 1From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (The fear of God is supposed to help keep you dependant upon God in Prayer. These people were in the flesh competing and fighting. They are lusting because they are not joined together against the devil in prayer.)

When did the power of God fall? When their was dedication and unity Acts 2:1 1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. (They were determined to pray and seek God together until Pentecost fully came! Good things are coming if we continue to obey and seek God together!)

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man 5:13-18 13Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (He was a regular believer that wouldn’t give up when he prayed.)

Returning from captivity Jeremiah 29:10-14 10For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. 11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
